There's just never enough words and space to describe this exceptional person, perhaps like the most of the write-up's, we'll begin with the day she was born. She was born Carolyn Lo on January 16, 1967, the second child in a brood that would eventually grow to 4. From her infancy right up to her formative years, she was known to be a rather "high-maintenance" kid who requires extensive attention, and was often endearingly called "Lo-Wa" or "Lo-Lo-Wa," which is Fookienese for the "pesky one." But she's never as pesky as one might think from that nickname. In fact, While she was a loving, loyal treasure to every member of the big, extended family, getting along with all, young and old, and often the person to speak to when one of us need a kind ear to listen to our problems. Our deceased grandfather Dr. Ong chi-Tiong was especially fond of her. She was for years his breakfast Mate and sparring partner for sarcastic but delightful exhange of words. In school, she was known as "Cookie," a nickname culled from her Cookie Monster school bag. Once again, she's everything of the opposite from the grouchy, hard-todeal-with character from Sesame Street. Her friends know Cookie is someone they can trust their secrets with and someone who would go the extra mile in the name of friendship. Currently residing in Singapore as the Executive
Secretary to the Regional President of Ciba Specialty Chemicals, she was
literally uprooted from her Taiwan base When her boss was relocated
to the Lion City, yet another shining example of how

as the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Lo. Although the couple
was originally disappointed with the, 'er', outcome (specially after the
nurse had mistakenly announced it was a 'boy'), but Bubot was never a source
of disappointment for her family from that day and on. At age 2,
Bubot was often seen playing blackjack and beating her elders on her own.
She was a 'natural' with academics, and was a typical straight 'A' student
who hardly ever settles for second place. She graduated with honors
from primary, secondary and collegiate levels, and would have handily
notched honors in kindergarten levels if there were any to complete a "four-pete."
She is currently a Marketing Manager at McDonald's

![]() The youngest and only son after three strikes
of girls, Kerwin could have been fated to be a spoiled brat but that he
is not. Despite of an overprotective mother and three fussy sisters,
I would say he turned out to be quite all right. In his growing up
and schooling years, he didn’t disappoint his parents by doing very well
in school and didn't give in to peer pressure by staying away from any
vice. Still clumsy at times even at (almost) 25 but that is
overshadowed by his wit and good
If you manage to cram in a few discussions with
him about life in general, you'd discover that beneath his happy-go-lucky
exterior, is a generous young man with good values and who knows what is
right and wrong. A favorite example would be when he opted to get
a pair of cheaper slacks over a more expensive branded one in order to
save more money to buy all his cousins basketball shorts in one of his
business trips. He doesn't splurge money on himself but is willing
to spend a lot for others! With such traits, it's rather safe to
assume that he would succeed not only in his career but also as a member
of this society as well.
